Two young Israelis have died after their cars were caught on fire during a high-speed crash on a busy highway in Jerusalem, police said.
The incident occurred in a section of the Qalandia Highway near the Western Wall on Monday, when a car traveling at 100 kilometers per hour crashed into another car.
The first car caught fire and exploded, while the second car, which was traveling at 200 kilometers per hours, caught fire as well.
The two young men were rushed to the hospital but were pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the car that caught fire was taken to the Shaare Zedek Medical Center, where he died of his injuries, according to police.
The police have not released the names of the driver of that car.
No arrests have been made.
